- Introduction - Don't introduce theories in the introduction, explore theories then apply these to graphic media.
- Consider Montessori - Is this more nursery/early years?
- Looking at how and why theories work and how these apply to images.
- Focus more on theory at the beginning of the essay
- Why you're looking at certain theories/paradigms.
- What is a paradigm?
- Explain/discuss different terminology/theorists.
- Where constructivism sits in relation to other things.
- Look at the historical development of constructivism.
- Looking at constructivism more in terms of approaches.
- Core areas and paradigms.
- People's positioning on a certain topic.
- Opinions, approaches and theories build on one an other, discuss this and show this throughout the essay, not in an argumentative way.
- Constructivism specifically related to primary schools.
- Explore more abstract ways of constructivism: The role of the teacher, role of learning materials, hand outs/displays (why) in relation to constructivism.
- Can also explore materials which aren't as effective or use constructivism well and discuss why this may be the case.
- Mainly looking at varying perspectives and approaches.
- Different approaches to the same topic/thing.
- Building on knowledge, such as how constructivism built on behaviourist theory.
- Constructivism outside of the classroom.
